I loved everything about The Evil Inside, and I believe this highlights the excellent research and time invested in its authorship. Marc Layton's ability to describe scenes and weave mysteries made me feel connected to a period I had only read about in history books in school. I appreciated the author's ability to keep me entertained, even though historical fiction is not usually one of my favorite genres.
